Changing our view
It's a new year so we’re getting a new look! Check out the blog to see what Ben and Pete have to say about our upcoming move. It is time for Beards to stretch it’s wings and get some wings (ie: food) along with that delicious craft beer we love to make and share. We are moving buildings, but that means we are growing, not forgetting our roots. At Beards we love to create craft brews in our Charlevoix and Petoskey production facilities. Yes, we have two brew-houses. With the volume that these facilities have enabled us to produce we are ready and willing to get more beer out, with more variety, to more people. This craft is why we need a bigger space and this is why we want it to be one of the most inviting places in Petoskey. Great beer matters to us. Every single worker at Beards wants to share with you, and drink, the highest quality beer possible. It matters to us because people matter and during the joys, hardships, or the mediocrity of life a good beer shared with friends can brighten up any day.
With this move we will continue production at our Charlevoix facility, using our 15 barrel system. In Petoskey we will be closing the doors to our old home at the Howard Street pub and opening the doors to our new home on Lake Street. The brew house in the back of the pub at Howard Street will be moving into the new 2.0 building and we will officially be leaving the current pub come late Spring this year. Don’t worry we’re only moving locations, the soul of Beards is coming with us.
The new building 2.0, as we call it, is in the works. Designs are created, demolition has begun and soon construction begins! We’ll have more space to host all you craft beer drinkers and restaurant goers; to hold events and entertainment; to soak in the light and views of Lake Michigan; and to enjoy the atmosphere. We’ll have regular taps and also rotating taps. So you can get your fill whether you prefer tried and true or you think variety is the spice of life. We aim to have something for every beer connoisseur.
Remember to check out the blog to get the rest of the information on the move.
For now, we will see you at the original pub and in distribution regions all over the state!
