2016 has been a year of many brilliant happenings. No longer brewery infants, Beards is starting to walk around and spread the good news of our beer. With our production facility cranking out bigger batches of some of our favorite recipes, we can now distribute to all of our neighbors in the great Michigan north (don’t worry, we’ll come visit you soon, central & downstaters)! That combined with our always-cozy and always-welcoming downtown pub has us hopping, in a good way.
Every August we like to look back as well as forward. We raise our glasses to those who have been with us since the beginning, and we all toast the future together--full of possibilities, determination, and triumphs.
On the day of our celebrations, we’ll be offering all the things. There will be music all day, featuring the Charlie Millard Band and Sky & Signal. Happy’s Taco Shop will be slinging their delicious food fare in the evening alongside our usual pub snacks and treats. Our fearless and awesome leaders, Ben Slocum and Peter Manthei, will be giving their Beer-in-Review, filled with exciting announcements and a look back at 2016.
As a local brewery, we embrace our local community because they embrace us. Without the support and camaraderie from our local family and friends, we would not be Beards Brewery. So, to show our gratitude, we’d like to give a little bit back by hosting a silent auction during our party. There will be lots of fun items to bid on and win, and in exchange, local organizations like The Nehemiah House, Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan, and the Little Traverse Conservancy will benefit.
Our anniversary is a celebration of all of us, and it wouldn’t be the same without you. So, come on down and enjoy a pint or two, and help us cheers the old and usher in the new.
